Signal is often understood as an abstract carrier of information, not as a generator of spatial order. In Haroon Mirza’s work, audio, light, and circuitry are organized so that interference, rhythm, and electrical feedback define spatial relationships. Each element interacts with others, producing structures that are perceptible through their operational behavior rather than appearance.
Variation and modulation are registered in real time, allowing the environment to activate itself as a cohesive system.
