Foxcroft built a world from folded simplicity.
Using MDF, felt, and paper, she transforms low materials into quiet geometry.
In her world, modesty is design.

Optical vibration is typically treated as a visual effect. In Lesley Foxcroft’s work, repeated geometric patterns function structurally to generate perceptual motion across the surface.
Material systems of MDF, felt, and paper encode intervals and relational spacing so that form emerges from modulation rather than expressive gesture. Movement is perceptual, color alternates, and edges pulse to sustain the rhythm of the surface.
