Ann Veronica Janssens is a Belgian artist whose work destabilizes perception through light, color, and atmosphere. Using fog, reflective materials, and chromatic environments, Janssens dissolves orientation and depth cues. Difference emerges through bodily movement and shifting conditions rather than fixed form. Her installations operate as sensory fields, where structure is experiential and contingent. Across her practice, Janssens demonstrates how perception itself can function as structure, allowing space to be organized through sensation rather than object.
