James Little builds a world where painting is governed by interval.
Color is introduced to be disciplined —
measured, repeated, and slowly exhausted.
What remains is not reduction,
but structure sustained through accumulated decisions.
Black and white do not signal austerity.
They mark the point at which interval becomes fully legible.
