Repetition sustains structures

Lynne Woods Turner builds a world where gesture is disciplined into interval.

Lines, arcs, and shallow curves repeat within measured limits.

Variation emerges through restraint rather than expansion.

Marks accumulate without hierarchy.

Difference is distributed across the surface.

Structure holds through continuity.

What happens when gesture is reduced to a unit?
This is some text inside of a div block.

In Lynne Woods Turner’s work, gesture is removed from expressive emphasis and repositioned as structural unit.

Marks are repeated within narrow variation so that difference emerges incrementally. No single element asserts dominance. Continuity replaces climax.

What appears intuitive is regulated. Structure holds through repetition rather than declaration.
