Lygia Clark

Structure as organism

Lygia Clark was a Brazilian artist whose work evolved from geometric abstraction to participatory, therapeutic, and body-centered practices. Later “Relational Objects” use elastic bands, stones, and sensory tools to explore feeling, touch, and inner experience.

Clark’s work redefined art as a collaborative, perceptual process rather than static form.
