Jun Takahashi

Takahashi writes manifestos in collage.

His Undercover collections splice punk, literature, and film into conceptual rebellion.

Clothes act as essays — fragments of culture stitched into rhythm.

His world is subversive and poetic, where intellect and instinct coexist in noise.

How does dissonance structure form here?
This is some text inside of a div block.

Dissonance is commonly treated as stylistic tension or expressive conflict. In Jun Takahashi’s work, conflicting references and materials function structurally to maintain instability, preventing the form from resolving into stylistic coherence.

Silhouettes shift, materials collide, and spatial relations are calibrated so that structure emerges from the juxtaposition of incongruent elements rather than harmony. Forms remain perceptible, but relational balance is contingent on tension.
