Peter Alexander

pee-ter al-ig-zan-der

Alexander built a world where color thickened into fog.

His resin blocks and luminous paintings hold the temperature of light — the horizon condensed into volume.

Each work feels both industrial and meteorological, precision wrapped in haze.

In his world, atmosphere replaces object, and clarity dissolves into glow.

How does translucency generate depth here?
This is some text inside of a div block.

Translucency is traditionally regarded as a way to suggest depth; in Peter Alexander’s work, it functions structurally to generate volumetric space by suspending color within resin.

Light penetrates the material, edges soften, and forms appear suspended within the volume. Perception unfolds across layers, allowing depth to register through internal illumination rather than surface representation.
